Maharashtra News Desk!!! Assembly elections are going to be held in Maharashtra soon, but before that the political uproar after the breaking of the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Sindhudurg is not taking the name of stopping. State BJP President Ashish Shelar, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have apologized for breaking the statue, but the opposition is continuously attacking. The opposition says that the insult of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj will not be tolerated. Amidst the political turmoil, all the big leaders from the central government to the state government have apologized to PM Modi, while the Congress has attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for apologizing. Congress spokesperson Supriya Srinet in Delhi said, “PM Modi’s apology is a sham. The PM should remove the CM and Deputy CM. The roof of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, UP is also leaking. When will the PM apologize? He is only apologizing and pretending keeping the vote in mind.”

“If the PM is really apologising…”

Congress posted on social media and wrote, “Amid strong opposition from the people of Maharashtra and the opposition, today Narendra Modi was forced to apologize to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, but this apology is not a pretense. If PM Modi has really committed this unforgivable sin, if he is apologizing, then he should remove the CM and Deputy CM from their posts and take strict action against those who were involved in this project. Maharashtra will not forget or forgive this insult.

We are ready to touch your feet 100 times- CM Eknath Shinde

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Maharashtra on Friday. During this, he participated in a program in Palghar, where he laid the foundation stone of the Vadhavan port to be built at a cost of Rs 76,000 crore. After the statue fell, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde apologized and said that he is ready to touch his feet 100 times.

To whom was the tender given for the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji?

Eight months ago, on the occasion of Navy Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Sindhudurg. Regarding this, the opposition says that a big scam has been hatched in the installation of the statue. The tender for making the statue was given to Jaydeep Apte, a friend of Eknath Shinde’s son.

Start of Shoe Beating Movement

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP also made a big statement saying that on September 1, the opposition will start a ‘Juta Maro’ movement against the government. Under this movement, a march will be taken out from Huttama Chowk of Gateway of India to Chhatrapati Shivaji statue at 11 am on September 1, in which Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray, National Congress Party’s Sharad Pawar and Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole will participate. Now it remains to be seen what effect this entire incident has on the Maharashtra assembly elections.

What impact will this issue have on Maharashtra elections?

Actually, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is considered a big leader in Maharashtra. Before the assembly elections, the opposition MVA i.e. Congress, NCP (Pawar faction) and Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) alliance wants to make this matter a big issue. They feel that through this issue they can make a dent in the vote bank of BJP and NDA before the elections. There is a discussion in the political corridors that if this situation remains, then the way this issue is not allowing the top leaders of BJP to breathe, it can also become a noose around their neck in the coming days.
