Ahmedabad, September 14 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Jharkhand, Gujarat and Odisha from September 15 to 17. In this episode, PM Modi will visit Gujarat on September 16. He will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth crores of rupees from GMDC ground in Ahmedabad. Before PM Modi’s visit, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel reached GMDC ground on Sunday and inspected the venue. Patel reviewed the preparations being made for the program and gave necessary instructions to the officials.
On this occasion, local MLA, Chief Secretary Raj Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Pankaj Joshi, Principal Secretary of Urban Development Department Ashwani Kumar, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner M. Thennarasan, Gujarat Urban Development Company (GUDC) Managing Director Rajkumar Beniwal, Ahmedabad District Collector Praveena D.K. and Ahmedabad City Police Commissioner G.S. Malik along with many senior officials were present.
On September 16, the Prime Minister will interact with the beneficiaries of the PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme in Gandhinagar.
He will then inaugurate the 4th Global Renewable Energy Investors Summit and Expo (RE-INVEST) at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
After that, he will inaugurate the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project and take a metro ride from Section 1 Metro Station to Gift City Metro Station.
Also in Ahmedabad, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects costing more than Rs 8,000 crore. These include quadrupling of Samakhiyali-Gandhidham and Gandhidham-Adipur railway lines, AMC, development of prestigious roads in Ahmedabad and construction of flyovers at Bakrol, Hathijan, Ramol and Panjarpol junction.
