Before the Delhi Assembly elections 2025, the Union Cabinet on Friday gave a big gift to the people of Delhi. The Cabinet approved the Rithala-Narela-Kundli corridor in the fourth phase of Delhi Metro. According to the information, this 26 km long corridor will make the movement of people of Delhi-Haryana much easier.
Apart from this, the cabinet headed by PM Modi has also approved the opening of 85 central and 28 Navodaya new schools in the country. After the cabinet meeting, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave a statement in this regard in the media and said that ‘PM Shri’ scheme has been brought to implement the new education policy. He said that all these schools will be made models for other schools.
Fourth phase of metro will be completed in 4 years
According to the information, there will be a total of 21 metro stations on Rithala-Narela-Kundli corridor. This corridor will first of all improve the connectivity between Delhi and Haryana. It is being told that the target is to complete the corridor in 4 years from the date of approval. Let us tell you that the cost of this project has been estimated at Rs 6230 crore. The fourth phase will currently be the extension of the Red Line. All its stations will be elevated and this will benefit lakhs of passengers of Rithala, Narela, Bawana and Rohini areas.
The number of teachers will be increased
After the cabinet meeting, it was told that under the scheme of all new Kendriya Vidyalayas, the number of central government employees and teachers will also be increased by adding two additional sections in all the classes. This project will cost Rs 5872.08 crore.
