Delhi News Desk!! Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia has broken his silence on his arrest after months. A meeting of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was called at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. During this, not only Arvind Kejriwal but Manish Sisodia also lashed out at the ruling party. Breaking his silence for the first time on his arrest, Manish Sisodia said that they tried their best to break me. I was told that Kejriwal has framed you. Arvind Kejriwal has declared me guilty in the court. If I take Kejriwal’s name, I will be released. But I did not believe anyone.
Offered to join BJP- Sisodia
Aam Aadmi Party held a public court at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Addressing the people, Manish Sisodia said that while I was in jail, I got an offer to join BJP. I was told to join hands with BJP, otherwise you will die in jail. Think about yourself. In politics, no one thinks about anyone. Think about your family, wife and son. I only replied to them that you are trying to keep Laxman away from Ram. No Ravana in the world has such courage. Arvind Kejriwal has been my brother for the last 26 years.
ED has seized everything- Sisodia
Manish Sisodia said that they tried to break us in connivance with the Aam Aadmi Party. But they could neither break us nor AAP. In 2002, when I was a journalist, I bought a flat worth Rs 5 lakh. It was taken from me. I had Rs 10 lakh in my bank account, that too was taken. I had to beg to pay my son’s fees.’ Arvind Kejriwal is no longer the Chief Minister of Delhi. Many people are hurt by this. In just 3-4 months, Kejriwal will again become the Chief Minister of Delhi.
Granted bail after one and a half years
Let us tell you that Manish Sisodia was in jail for about one and a half years in the Delhi liquor policy scam. His bail was granted only last month. Arvind Kejriwal, who was lodged in Tihar Jail in the same case, also got bail last week. After coming out of jail, Kejriwal resigned from the post of CM, while Sisodia also refused to become Deputy Chief Minister. Both the leaders have vowed to sit on the throne of Delhi by winning the assembly elections.
