Big action before PM Modi’s visit to Canada, Khalistan busted drug network busted

sadfd

It is not a matter of some time ago when Canadian PM Justin Trudeau was constantly seen talking inflammatory against India. His chair went away .. Trump insulted the entire party. But now it seems that the new PM is learning something from Trudeau. In this series, the Canada Police has busted an international drug smuggling network by running a major operation called Project Pelican, whose roots are said to be related to Khalistani activities. It is being told that many anti -India activities were going on here. All this happened when PM Modi is going to Canada for G7.

Before joining the summit

Actually, according to international media reports, 479 kg of cocaine has been seized in this operation so far. The price of which is estimated at $ 47.9 million. Police have arrested nine people, of which seven are of Indian origin and live in Canada. It is considered to be the biggest drug seizure ever. The most important thing here is that this action took place before Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined the G7 Summit. The trip is seen as a sign of Canada to re -establish relations with India. Experts believe that Canada has also indicated that it is keen to bring the relationship back on track.

According to the report, it smuggled drugs from the US to Canada through network trucks and has a relationship with Mexican drug cartel. The money received from this smuggling was being used for anti -India activities, referendum for the Khalistan movement, protests and weapons procurement.

ISI funds this system

Not only this, the shocking thing is that intelligence agencies claim that Pakistan’s ISI is funding this entire system. Heroin grown in Afghanistan and confiscated cocaine in the US is part of this strategy through which conspiracies are being hatched against India. Police and security agencies also reported that during the investigation several agencies from Canada and the US together identified trucks, storage units and suspects.

Serious towards strengthening relations

This action is also being linked to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s G7 tour. This is the first major security campaign after the new government comes to power in Canada which can be considered a step towards improving relations with India. The previous Trudeau government was accused of giving protection to Khalistanis, making India-Canada relations very stressful. Now just before Modi’s visit to Ottawa, such an action is an indication that the new government is serious about strengthening relations with India.
