Patna, 26 January (IANS). Seven people of Bihar have been selected for the prestigious Padma Awards. Which includes retired IPS and social activist Kishore Kunal, who is being posthumously given Padma Shri. After the announcement of Padma Shri, news agency IANS spoke to Acharya Kishore Kunal’s family.
Anita Kunal, wife of Kishore Kunal, said, “I feel very proud that his work is now being appreciated and recognized. But, it took a little delay in recognizing the work done by him. Because,, this honor It would not have been good with us if he was given this honor a little earlier.
Kishore Kunal’s son Sion Kunal said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi recognized and honored my father’s work. So we are special grateful to him. He said that in view of the Padma Awards process, the way PM Modi has given him the work of father in a very short time, I want to express his special gratitude for this.
Kishore Kunal’s daughter -in -law and MP Shambhavi Chaudhary said that I thank the Government of India, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This moment is a moment of pride of all of us. Dad’s unfinished tasks have to be carried forward. This will be a true tribute. As their children, it is our religion that we should follow the paths shown to them and fulfill their unfinished dreams.
Please tell that former IPS Acharya Kishore Kunal had actively participated in social work. He was working as Chairman of Bihar State Religious Trust Board and Secretary of the famous Mahavir Temple Trust of Patna. His service and contribution led to significant changes in the society.
An important part of Kishore Kunal’s life was associated with social and religious works. He was one of the founders of the Ayodhya Temple Trust and also played the role of an intermediary in the Babri Masjid dispute.
Kishore Kunal was born on 10 August 1950. He had his early education in Baruraj village in Muzaffarpur district. He then studied history and Sanskrit from Patna University and obtained a bachelor’s degree in 1970. He also received a master’s degree in 1983. He then joined the police service and served in many big positions.
