Gaya, Aug 31 (IANS) Bihar’s Tourism and Industry Minister Nitish Mishra on Sunday said that Bihar is going to become a job creator state. People of Bihar will now give employment to people of other states, this will make India developed. Youth are getting a lot of employment opportunities under the MSME department.
He said that the target of Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Yojana has been increased from 5000 to 7000. Bihar is going to become the biggest industrial center. A one day workshop of MSME promotion cum training was organized at Mahabodhi Cultural Center Bodh Gaya on Saturday. Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Jitan Ram Manjhi and Bihar Minister Prem Kumar were also present as the chief guests at the workshop.
Minister Nitish Mishra said that the biggest industrial corridor is going to be built in Dobhi area of Gaya. Large scale industries will be set up here.
He said that more than 1600 acres of land has been earmarked for the Industrial Corridor of Dobhi. Rs 28,000 crore will be spent to build it. Also, 10 to 30 lakh people will get employment.
Addressing the workshop, Chief Guest Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said that today’s workshop is very important. Loans are also being given to people joining the industry under the Industry Department in Gaya district as well as in all the districts of Bihar.
While praising the government in the program, he said that very cheap loans are made available under MSME, so that even people with less money can set up their own employment. The loan giving capacity has been increased from 10 crores to 22 crores.
He said that now permission has been granted for cargo planes to land at Gaya International Airport, soon cargo planes will start landing at Gaya International Airport. A technology center is being constructed in Gaya district, its approval has been given and soon 15 to 20 acres of land will be identified and boundary wall work will be done and it will be constructed.
Apart from this, earlier there was only one extension centre in Bihar in Patna district. Now approval has been given to increase it to 5 extension centres, which will be built in different districts of Bihar.
He said that a cluster for making incense sticks will be built in Bodh Gaya. Also, a textile cluster will be built for weavers in Manpur. In future, a Khadi mall is also being considered to be built in Gaya district.
He said that apart from this, talks are also going on to build railway lines from Gaya to Daltenganj and Gaya to Manpur Rasalpur. In the next 10 years, Gaya district will take the form of Noida. People of Gaya district will no longer need to go to other states for employment, rather people from other states will come and get employment in Gaya district.
