Mumbai, Aug 31 (IANS) Politics has heated up over the abolition of the Friday namaz break in Assam Assembly. Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Syed Naseer Hussain has launched a major attack.
He said that I think the Assam government and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma are more interested in all these things. They have no faith in development, progress, relief work, providing facilities to the people and public welfare policies. Now he has also started feeling that his new party is not happy with the bosses of BJP. In such a situation, he is doing all these acts to show more loyalty. It does not matter.
He said that he is going to lose in the upcoming elections. That is why he is doing politics through the issue of division and polarization. People of every community and every religion live in India. They have civilizations and beliefs that have been going on for centuries. Stopping and ending them will not be good for any society.
Regarding the JPC meeting in view of the Waqf law, he said that I cannot tell what happened in the meeting, because I am its member. There is Waqf property in every village of India, so wherever Muslims live, there is a cemetery, an Idgah, a mosque.
When there is Waqf property everywhere, there are many stakeholders too. There are experts on it. There are people who run the board. There are different types of people. There are different rules. All those things have to be discussed, so all the stakeholders have been called. It is possible that JPC may also tour different states. We will talk to all the stakeholders and understand. After that a report will be prepared and submitted to the Parliament.
On the question of UPI transaction reaching maximum, he said that what does PM Modi want to say. Rich people have changed the mode of transaction. They are transferring their money from one place to another. In such a situation, the question is what the common people want. Common people want jobs, common people want two meals a day. Why does PM Modi not talk about that? Rich people have money, so they will transact through any mode.
If the poor people do not have money, then from where will they do the transactions. The Modi government should also tell whose money is this and which category it belongs to. They are busy taking credit for everything. Although this process started during the Congress regime, but I believe that the poor are asking questions about jobs and two meals a day. PM Modi should make arrangements for that.
