A recent statement by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has once again created a stir in the political corridors. The BJP immediately reacted sharply to Rahul Gandhi’s statement. The party’s IT cell chief Amit Malviya wrote on social media platform x, Fake News Alert! Rahul Gandhi claims that Arun Jaitley threatened him on agricultural laws in 2020, while Jaitley died on 24 August 2019.
Malaviya also clarified that the format of agricultural laws was introduced before the Union Cabinet in June 2020 and these laws were passed from Parliament in September 2020. In such a situation, Rahul Gandhi’s claim is not only factually wrong, but the political story that deliberately fed.

Arun Jaitley’s son and DDCA President Rohan Jaitley also expressed displeasure over Rahul’s statement. He wrote, Rahul Gandhi is saying that my father threatened him on agricultural laws, while he died in 2019 and these laws came in 2020.
