New Delhi, Sep 9 (IANS) Citing the ongoing hearing in the Supreme Court on the RG Kar Medical College case, the BJP has alleged that the head of Indian democracy has bowed in shame and the state’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee should immediately resign from her post.
BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia, while addressing the media at the party headquarters, said that after the hearing in the RG Kar Medical College case in the Supreme Court on Monday, he would like to ask whether Mamata Banerjee still wants to remain in her post?
Bhatia said that now for a fair investigation, Mamata Banerjee should immediately resign from the post of Chief Minister. Mamata Banerjee knew everything. She was involved in saving the criminals and destroying the evidence, so she should also undergo a polygraph test and should also be arrested, so that the truth comes out.
He said that the Supreme Court heard the RG Kar Medical College case for about two hours on Monday. This incident brought shame to the entire Indian democracy, but ‘Nirmata Banerjee’ was not ashamed. In today’s hearing, there was a fight between the protectors of the Constitution on one side and the destroyers of the Constitution on the other. She did not think it right to stand with the victim’s family, she can stand with the rapist. The Supreme Court has clearly said that our doctors and women should have faith in the government, you should provide them security. The responsibility of their security is on Mamata Banerjee. What will she do now, this is a big question.
He also demanded the dismissal of Kolkata Commissioner Vineet Goyal from his post. He also demanded that the call records between Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Kolkata Commissioner Vineet Goyal and the then Principal of RG Kar Medical College, Dr. Sandeep Ghosh, be made public. The BJP spokesperson also targeted Mamata Banerjee for the 14-hour delay in filing the FIR, hastily conducting the post-mortem in the same hospital, providing only 27 minutes of CCTV footage and the allegations made by the victim’s father.
Responding to a question on Rahul Gandhi’s statements, Gaurav Bhatia said that everyone knows that Rahul Gandhi is an immature and part-time leader. But after becoming the leader of the opposition, the public has placed a huge responsibility on his shoulders. But today it is sad to say that Rahul Gandhi is a black spot in the Indian democracy. He does not even know what to talk about when he goes to a foreign land. He has never read the Constitution that he roams around with.
Bhatia said that Rahul Gandhi could not say a single word, a single statement against China, but he calls India weak and uses abusive language about the Indian Army. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi is making such statements to weaken India’s democracy under the terms of the MoU that Congress had signed with China and if this is not so then Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge should make public the MoU signed with China.
Responding to a question on the resignation of TMC’s Jawahar Sarkar, Bhatia said that whatever has happened in West Bengal has angered the people of Bengal, the people of the country and the leaders of TMC. Jawahar Sarkar is not the only TMC leader who is sad, but there are many other leaders in TMC who are very sad because of Mamata Banerjee protecting criminals and rapists. In the coming days, TMC will also be torn apart for justice.
Responding to a question about the conspiracy behind the frequent train accidents in the country, he said that the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is so capable that those who conspire are destroyed and eliminated. It is worrying that in the greed for power, some people and organizations want to spread riots and anarchy in the country. Action is being taken against them and will continue to be taken. The question arises from the opposition parties that why are these people who talk about Mohabbat Ki Dukaan standing with the conspirators. He also reacted strongly to Zakir Naik’s statement.
