Palwal, September 19 (IANS). The campaigning for the Haryana assembly elections has intensified. In this connection, all the star campaigners of BJP have also started creating an atmosphere in favour of the party through election campaigning in Palwal. The reaction of Congress candidate from Palwal, Karan Dalal, came to light regarding the campaigning being done by the star campaigners of BJP in Palwal.
Talking to IANS, Karan Dalal said that when our government was in power in Haryana and at the Centre, we did many development works in Palwal. I made Palwal a district, whatever work was done during my time, there has been no shortage till date. Palwal was turned into Jamnagar under the BJP rule. Palwal becomes a sinking city with a little rain.
He said that ransom is being demanded under the BJP rule. Traders are troubled. Chains of sisters and daughters are being snatched in Palwal. People of Dalit community are not being given money to build houses. During the Congress government, we had given 100-yard plots to the poor and have announced to give them again when we come to power.
He said that whatever development work was done in Haryana, it was done by Congress. Apart from this, whatever development happened in Palwal, it was done by Congress and I. If BJP has done any development work in Palwal, then they should bring a list. If PM Modi has done any work in this Lok Sabha constituency, then tell about that too. We have announced the metro and he has also announced it, but we will bring the metro.
He said that even today BJP is not talking about work. Congress is talking about work. We will develop Palwal on the lines of Noida and Gurugram. We will give Rs 2,000 per month to our sisters and daughters. We will give Rs 6,000 as old age pension. We will waive electricity bills up to 300 units.
