Patna, August 31 (IANS). Bihar BJP is busy in preparing for the membership campaign starting from September 2. Workshops are being organised continuously under this. This time BJP is emphasising on an all-encompassing, all-inclusive membership campaign.
Bihar BJP membership campaign coordinator and former state minister Jivesh Mishra said that BJP’s membership campaign is going to start from September 2. Under this, a target has been set to make more than one crore people members.
He said that under this membership campaign, we will reach out to all the people and make them members of the BJP. This membership campaign will be all-encompassing and all-inclusive.
Jivesh Mishra said that the workshop of the team formed for the membership campaign in Bihar was held on 21st August and the workshop of the United Front was held on 30th August. Today, meetings are being held at all booths regarding the workshop. He said that we will reach out to all sections of the society and make everyone a member. This membership campaign will be started on 2nd December by Prime Minister Narendra Modi by becoming a member.
He stressed that BJP is the only party which runs on a completely democratic process. Under this, old members also re-join membership along with new members in six years. This is the reason why Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take membership again.
He said that on September 3, the work of enrolling prominent people of all sections at the state level will be done on a large scale under the leadership of State President Dr. Dilip Jaiswal and senior leaders.
He said that this campaign will start on September 2 but it will be launched on a large scale at the state level on September 3. On September 4, the membership campaign will be started by the Union Minister and senior leaders in all the 9 divisions of Bihar. In this, we will reach out to the last person of the society and get them to take membership.
He said that on September 5, senior leaders, ministers, MLAs, MPs will conduct membership campaigns at all district headquarters and will run a mega campaign from September 11 to 17. Under this, all the Union Ministers of Bihar, Ministers of Bihar Government, Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha MPs, MLAs, Legislative Councilors and supported public representatives will travel and padyatra in their respective areas for this campaign and will go to every village and run a membership campaign.
Mishra said that last time in the membership campaign of 2014, we had made about 68.86 lakh people members, while in 2019, 30 lakh people were made members. That is, about one crore people were made members. This time BJP has set a target of more than one crore.
