Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) -led Central Government is trying to remove secular and socialism from the Constitution.
Addressing the party’s ‘Save Constitution Inclusion’ program, Kharge also said that Dalits, tribals and youth of the country will have to learn to fight for their rights in BJP rule. He said, “The BJP government at the Center is trying to remove secular and socialism from our constitution.”
Kharge also claimed that BJP supporters are attacking Dalits and government officials in Odisha.
The Congress president said, “If Dalits, tribals and youth do not learn to fight for their rights, then the BJP will wipe out.”
Targeting the Center, he also said that the Congress government established 160 public undertakings in India while the BJP government “privatized 23 of them.”
