Delhi Election 2024 : Political excitement is at its peak regarding the assembly elections in Delhi. A period of war of words has begun between political parties. Meanwhile, BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri has once again made remarks against Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, due to which a controversy has arisen. He said that Atishi is roaming like a deer on the streets of Delhi. Let us tell you that Ramesh Bidhuri, who was the Lok Sabha MP from South Delhi from 2014 to 2024, has now been fielded as a BJP candidate from Kalkaji against Atishi.
BJP leader Bidhuri said that the people of Delhi are living hell in the streets. He said that in the last four years, Atishi never came to meet people and now that the elections have come, she is roaming on the streets of Delhi like a deer runs in the forest. He said that due to the failure of the administration in Delhi, people are not able to buy flats, soon flats will be given to those having identity cards. He said that when Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi were the chairman of Delhi Jal Board, not a single treatment plant was installed. He said that Kejriwal lives in Sheesh Mahal.
Statements given earlier also
This is not the first time that Ramesh Bidhuri has made controversial remarks against Atishi. Earlier he had said that it became Marlena (the alias used earlier by Atishi) Singh, the name changed. Kejriwal took an oath on his children that they would not contest elections. Bidhuri said at an election rally in Rohini, Delhi on January 6 that Marlena changed her father to go along with the corrupt Congress. Earlier she was Marlena, now she has become Leo. This is his character. Opposition parties criticized Bidhuri for this comment. Meanwhile, Delhi BJP media department head Praveen Shankar Kapoor said that political leaders should avoid making personal, gender-related or family-related comments against others.
Will you do such dirty things for elections?
Atishi cried in a press conference and criticized Bidhuri for her comment. She said that I want to tell Ramesh Bidhuri that my father was a teacher all his life. He has taught thousands of children coming from poor and lower-middle-class families, now 80 years old. Now he is so ill that he cannot even walk without help. Will Ramesh Bidhuri do such dirty things for elections? He has stooped to the level of abusing an old man. I never thought that the politics of this country could stoop so low.
Let us tell you that voting for the 70-member assembly will be held in Delhi on February 5. Counting of votes will take place on February 8.
