New Delhi, 27 February (IANS). BJP MLA Mohan Singh Bisht from Delhi’s Mustafabad assembly seat can now be seen playing the role of deputy speaker in the Delhi Assembly. The BJP has nominated Mustafabad MLA Mohan Singh Bisht as a candidate for the deputy speaker. Bisht expressed his gratitude to the party’s decision.
Talking to the news agency IANS, BJP MLA Mohan Singh Bisht said, “I thank the party who has respected me. I think only the BJP can do the work of honoring the old people. The work of the deputy speaker, whether it is to run, whether it is to run the House or to implement the process of the House, it will be my priority.”
On the BJP’s announcements, he said, “The process of giving Rs 2500 to eligible women soon is going to be started. Apart from this, the CAG report has been laid on the table. Whatever scams the former government has done, the pie will be calculated.”
Please tell that today is the third day of the Delhi Assembly session. Earlier this session of the assembly was to run for three days, but now this session has been extended till March 3. On 25 February, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta presented a CAG report on the liquor policy in the House.
According to the CAG report, the then government of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) made a variety of disturbances in the new liquor policy, causing a loss of about Rs 2002.68 crore to the Delhi government.
