New Delhi, December 26 (IANS). BJP Mahila Morcha workers on Thursday demonstrated outside the residence of former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, calling the ‘Mahila Samman Yojana’ a fraud. Women workers raised slogans against Kejriwal.
BJP Mahila Morcha workers protested outside the house of former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi on Thursday regarding Mahila Samman Yojana. The protesting women held posters in their hands and raised slogans against Kejriwal. It was written in the poster, “Those who could not give Rs 1000 to Punjab, how will they give Rs 2100 to Delhi?”
During the demonstration, BJP Mahila Morcha workers raised various issues related to women’s safety and criticized the Kejriwal government. During this demonstration, Delhi Police took the protesting women into custody.
During this, BJP Mahila Morcha Delhi President Richa Pandey said that a fake scheme has been run by Arvind Kejriwal to fraudulently collect votes in entire Delhi. In which it has been said that Rs 2100 will be given to women. Delhi government is registering people through fake means before the assembly elections and through this their personal data is being collected. This is a conspiracy, the objective of which is to gain electoral benefits.
He further said that this is the same Arvind Kejriwal, who had promised to give one thousand rupees to women in the Punjab Assembly elections but has not received it till date. In such a situation, they are trying to get women’s votes by lying. We will also take legal action on this. He has insulted women. His secret has been exposed in the court of public.
Former state president of Mahila Morcha Yogita Singh said that today we are protesting peacefully outside Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. Today we have come to ask for an answer from them whether they will give money. He had made a similar promise to the women of Punjab also but till date it has not been fulfilled.
