New Delhi, 11 February (IANS). Newly elected BJP MLA Vijendra Gupta from Rohini Assembly in New Delhi has written a letter to Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena.
Through the letter, he has demanded immediate action against illegal construction and severe violation of rules at government residence at 6, Flag Staff Road, former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Vijendra Gupta urged Governor VK Saxena that the property be restored to his original position and the encroachment on the surrounding government properties should be removed without delay.
In his letter to LG, Vijendra Gupta alleged, “Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal converted his official residence into Sheesh Mahal using public funds, which was completely illegal and immoral. In such a situation, his property was his property. The original condition should be restored and the encroachment on the surrounding government properties should be removed without delay. “
Vijendra Gupta said in the letter that crores of rupees were spent from the treasury of Delhi to build this luxurious mansion, while the residents of the city are struggling for basic needs. Former CM Arvind Kejriwal claimed to be a common man, but he used public funds to build a luxurious palace for himself. Arvind Kejriwal brutally spent the hard earned money of the people on his luxurious palace. This is not only corruption, but also betrayal with people.
He urged Lt. Governor VK Saxena to restore 6, Flag Staff Road in its original position, remove illegal encroachments and separate 8A and 8B Flag Staff Road from the CM Housing Complex.
BJP MLA Vijendra Gupta also demanded a detailed investigation into the matter and speedy action on the complaint filed in the case last year.
