The Enforcement Directorate has filed a charge sheet against Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in a special court here for alleged money laundering of Rs 988 crore in the National Herald case. The Congress has termed the allegation against its top leaders as a revenge action by the ruling BJP.
Former Supreme Court Judge Hemant Gupta, former Chairman of the Law Commission of India BS Chauhan and well-known lawyer and Congress MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi are among those who will express their views before the Joint Committee of Parliament on the subject of elections together. BJP MP PP Chaudhary is chairing this committee.
