Patna, September 21 (IANS). MP from Patna Sahib seat and former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad is continuously distributing study material and school bags among students under Seva Pakhwada. In this series, he also distributed school bags and study material on Saturday.
While addressing the program, he reiterated his dedication towards education. He said that with the joint efforts of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and UNICEF, attention has been paid to the mental, intellectual and physical development of children. Referring to the specialty of the school bags distributed, he said that this specially designed school bag will prove to be very beneficial for children studying in rural areas.
He told that UNICEF is working towards strengthening the education system of government schools in about 22 states of India, increasing the intellectual capacity of students and improving the health of children. Explaining the features of the bag, he said that this bag will help children to sit properly and study, which will improve the health of their spine, brain and eyes. He also told that using the bag will not have any adverse effect on eyesight. Happiness was clearly visible on the faces of all the children at the time of distribution in the program.
Apart from this, while talking to IANS, Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to America will be successful and India’s image is growing rapidly globally. He said that Prime Minister Modi is a world-class leader who is setting new dimensions for India.
Let us tell you, Bharatiya Janata Party has started Seva Pakhwada from the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under Seva Pakhwada, BJP is doing service work in cities, villages, streets, mohallas, majras, chaupals and public places. This program will run till October 2, during which various programs will be organized.
