The ruckus outside Parliament has turned into a major controversy following parallel protests by BJP and opposition MPs. Two BJP MPs reportedly suffered minor injuries amid a scuffle between MPs. At the same time, Rahul Gandhi accused BJP of stopping him.
BJP MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi alleged that he got injured after being pushed by Rahul Gandhi, following which the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha said that he was trying to go inside the Parliament and the incident happened when BJP MPs Tried to push him.
Talking to the media, Rahul Gandhi said that he has the right to go inside the Parliament.
The leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha said, “This could be on your camera. I was trying to go inside through the Parliament entrance, BJP MPs were trying to stop, push and threaten me. That’s why this happened. .. Yes, it has happened (Mallikarjun Kharge was pushed). But this is the entrance and we have the right to go inside. The main issue is that they are constitutional. They are attacking and insulting the memory of Ambedkar ji.”
Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla saying that BJP MPs pushed him at Makar Dwar and he suffered a knee injury. He has urged the Speaker to investigate the incident.

Earlier, BJP MP Pratap Chandra had claimed that he was standing on the stairs when another MP fell on him, causing injury to his head.
Singh told reporters, “Rahul Gandhi pushed an MP who fell on me after which I fell down. I was standing near the stairs when Rahul Gandhi came and pushed an MP who fell on me. “
The incident occurred at a time when ruling BJP MPs were protesting in the Parliament complex against the Congress party for “insulting” Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Meanwhile, due to opposition and BJP’s protest over the Ambedkar controversy, the proceedings of both the Houses were adjourned till 2 pm on Thursday. India Bloc MPs, led by Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, on Thursday protested in the Parliament complex and demanded the resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah over his remarks on Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha proceedings were adjourned on Wednesday due to protests by Congress and other opposition members over remarks related to BR Ambedkar attacking the Congress by Home Minister Amit Shah in his speech in the Rajya Sabha.
