Patna, September 6 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda reached Patna on Friday on his two-day visit to Bihar. On reaching Patna, he reached the Chief Minister’s residence, where he met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
During this, BJP state president Dr. Dilip Jaiswal, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary were also present. JP Nadda met BJP leaders after landing at Patna airport and then went straight to the Chief Minister’s residence.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar honoured the BJP President by giving him a shawl. Earlier, BJP leaders gave a rousing welcome to BJP President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda on his arrival at Patna airport.
During this, BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha and many other BJP leaders and workers were present. This is JP Nadda’s first visit to Bihar after becoming a Union Minister. During his two-day stay, he will inaugurate many hospitals.
Tight security arrangements have been made for the arrival of the Union Minister in Bihar. JP Nadda will inaugurate the newly built Regional Eye Institute located in the IGIMS campus on Friday. After this he will go to Bhagalpur, where he will inaugurate a two hundred bed super specialty block. From there he will go to Gaya, where he will inaugurate a super specialty hospital in Magadh Medical College.
On the second day of his two-day visit to Bihar, on September 7 (Saturday), JP Nadda will visit Patna Medical College Hospital. He will see the new block being built in PMCH. Recently, there was a meeting between Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav regarding the appointment of the Information Commissioner. Many speculations are being made about it. However, this meeting was held to finalize the name of the Information Commissioner.
