BJP President: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is in a dilemma about the election of its new national president these days. Earlier, the party had to agree with its ideological organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on this issue and now suddenly the resignation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has made another challenge to the party. Let us understand the whole matter in detail.
Vice Presidential election increased BJP confusion
Recently, the country’s Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar suddenly resigned, for which he cited health. However, the opposition is not calling it normal, calling it a big trick. Meanwhile, due to the vacancy of the post of Vice President, the entire focus of the BJP has now focused on the election of the new Vice President. Due to this, the process of organizational election of the party has again gone into cold storage. There may be further delay in the election of the already long -halted national president.
State presidents announced in these states including UP pending
The BJP has so far announced new state presidents in 28 out of 36 states. But in big states like Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka and Haryana, the new president has not been decided yet. Due to this, there is restlessness in the workers and organization of these states. However, a list of six names has been sent to the central leadership for the UP BJP president on the previous day. In such a situation, speculations are being made that one name may be stamped in the coming two weeks.
When will the organization elections be held?
At present, there is no clear information about when the national president of the party and the rest of the state presidents will be elected. It is believed that this does not look possible during the monsoon session and after that preparations for Bihar elections will start. In such a situation, this case can be further drawn.
The names of these leaders ahead in the race
The names of many big leaders for the post of National President are in discussion. These include the names of Dharmendra Pradhan (Union Minister), Shivraj Singh Chauhan (Cabinet Minister), Manohar Lal Khattar (Cabinet Minister) and Bhupendra Yadav (Cabinet Minister). Some of these leaders are known for their organizational experience, while some are coming out keeping in mind the political balance and social representation.
The BJP has a dual challenge at the moment- the appointment of the national president on one side, and on the other side the preparation of the Vice President’s election. Both cases are very important for the future and organizational strength of the party. In the coming days, it will be interesting to see who the BJP makes its next face.
