Ranchi, 9 March (IANS). The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has questioned law and order in Jharkhand. The party’s state spokesperson Pratul Shahdev expressed concern over the major criminal incidents in Hazaribagh and Ranchi in the last two days, demanding the state government to sit abroad and tighten the criminals who were committing criminal incidents in Jharkhand.
Shahdev has said that in recent times, there has been a steady increase in criminal incidents in six-seven districts of Jharkhand, where coal production and transportation is done. Criminals sitting abroad for levy and extortion create panic by carrying out incidents with their henchmen in Jharkhand.
Two years ago, GM of a coal company was killed in Hazaribagh two years ago. Now the DGM of NTPC has been murdered. The coal trader is attacked in a crowded area of Ranchi. In other districts, there are frequent firing incidents on coal siding.
The BJP leader said that in today’s day organized crime has become a big problem for the police like Naxalism in Jharkhand. Alam is that in many districts, officials associated with coal company travel by bullet proof vehicles. The morale of criminals has increased so much that after executing the incident, he wrote on Facebook and takes responsibility for the incident and also warns for the future.
BJP leader Pratul said that if the state government does not eliminate the organized gang under a planned plan, then the situation of Jharkhand will become frightening. He said that according to the website of Jharkhand Police, 5,207 cognizable offenses occurred in the first month of the government, which is a matter of concern.
