Jammu, August 29 (IANS). BJP national spokesperson Shazia Ilmi on Thursday took a dig at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Talking to IANS, she said that she had never heard such an irresponsible and provocative statement till date.
Shazia Ilmi reacted to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s statement in which she said that if Bengal burns, its impact will be seen in other states of the country as well.
BJP spokesperson Shazia Ilmi said that Mamata Banerjee’s statement is provocative. She works to save rapists, corrupt people and criminals, this includes the police, administration and government. When she is unable to handle the situation, she talks provocatively about setting the whole country on fire. I have never heard such an irresponsible and provocative statement till date.
On the question of President Draupadi Murmu writing a letter regarding the increasing crime against women in the country, the BJP spokesperson said that this is a voice of decency. She is of a very spiritual nature. She prayed for the daughters of the country. In such a situation, all of us have to stand with her thinking.
Her Majesty has presented her views with utmost decency, seriousness and sensitivity. She is a woman, a tribal daughter and also a living soul.
The BJP spokesperson cornered the Congress over the alliance between the Congress and the National Conference in the electoral state of Jammu and Kashmir. He taunted them by saying that when they hoisted the tricolour at Lal Chowk during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, they had made eye contact with the terrorists.
Rahul Gandhi is roaming around with copies of the Constitution, but he does not want the people of Jammu and Kashmir to get the rights that people of other states of the country have. Shazia Ilmi called the alliance of Congress and National Conference unholy and dangerous.
