Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, while presiding over the first cabinet meeting after the swearing in, announced that his government would implement the Ayushman Bharat scheme with a top-up of Rs 5 lakh and will present 14 pending CAG reports in the first meeting of the assembly.
Addressing a press conference, he said that the Delhi government will implement the main plan of the Center in the national capital. This was the pre -election promise of the BJP, which targeted the AAP government for not implementing the plan.
He also announced to present the CAG report in the House, which the AAP government did not present in the House.
Rekha Gupta said, “In the first cabinet meeting we discussed two agendas and passed them – implementing Ayushman Bharat Scheme with a top -up of Rs 5 lakh in Delhi and presenting 14 CAG reports in the first meeting of the assembly. We will fulfill the promises we have made to the people. “
He said that the Delhi government will bear the cost of the top-up and sign an MoU with the Center.
Asked about the AAP leader and former Chief Minister Atishi, when the BJP had promised to pass a plan to give Rs 2,500 to women every month in the first cabinet meeting, Rekha Gupta said that the BJP government will decide its agenda. .

Rekha Gupta also announced the departments of her Council of Ministers.
Rekha Gupta will have general administration, services, finance, revenue, women’s and child development, land and buildings, information and public relations, vigilance, administrative reforms, schemes and other departments which have not been allocated to any other ministry.
In its manifesto for the Delhi election, the BJP said that it will implement the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which will ensure cheap and quality healthcare for every citizen.
It said, “In our first cabinet meeting, we will implement the Central Government’s Ayushman Bharat Yojana, under which free treatment of up to Rs 5 lakh will be made available and the state government will provide an additional cover of Rs 5 lakh to all poor families. “
