The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a program called Saugat-e-Modi to celebrate Ramadan and the upcoming religious holidays, including Eid, Good Friday, Easter, Navroz and Indian Samvat New Year. The purpose of this campaign is to serve the disadvantaged communities. The BJP has made arrangements to organize Eid Milan ceremony at various places across India. The BJP is planning to provide assistance to 32 lakh needy persons under the national leadership of BJP Minority Front President Jamal Siddiqui. According to reports, the BJP has organized district level Eid Milan celebrations in all regions of India.
National President of BJP Minority Front Jamal Siddiqui said that 32,000 Front officials will identify and distribute the Saugat-e-Modi kit with essential commodities through a network of 32,000 mosques. He emphasized that the month of Ramadan calls for the needy neighbors and family members honestly help.
The BJP started the event with the target of including 32,000 officials of the BJP Minority Front. These officers will identify 100 needy persons before distributing Saugat-e-Modi gift kits in collaboration with mosque committees. The recipients will receive all the essential items within the kit. The Saugat-e-Modi kit will be distributed on four major occasions: Good Friday, Easter, Navarz and Indian New Year. According to the BJP, this initiative serves as a performance of cultural values of Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb (coordinated fusion of Hindu and Muslim traditions).

Through its ‘Saugat-e-Modi’ campaign, the BJP plans to distribute 3.2 million assistance packages to the disadvantaged persons during Ramadan, Eid, Easter, Good Friday, Navros and Indian New Year celebrations.
The BJP Minority Front will organize Eid Milan social functions in various districts across the country.
A total of 32,000 party officials will coordinate with mosque committees and identify 3.2 million needy persons, after which ‘Saugat-e-Modi’ packages will be distributed. Officers will collaborate with the respective mosque committees to select 100 beneficiaries for each group before distributing the aid package. Distribution packages will include essential commodities to assist recipients.
The BJP Minority Front will oversee the implementation of this entire initiative.
