New Delhi, September 9 (IANS) The BJP is preparing to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on a large scale across the country. The BJP has planned to celebrate ‘Seva Pakhwada’ on a large scale across the country from PM Modi’s birthday, September 17 to Gandhi Jayanti, October 2.
BJP’s National President JP Nadda has also formed a team at the national level for this. Party’s National General Secretary Sunil Bansal has been made its convener. Party’s National Vice President Saroj Pandey, OBC Morcha’s National President Dr. K. Laxman, National Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa, ST Morcha’s National President Sameer Oraon, Harish Dwivedi, Rajiv Chandrashekhar, Neeraj Shekhar and Aparajita Sarangi have been made members of the team.
BJP’s national general secretary and headquarter in-charge Arun Singh has written a letter to all states under the ‘Seva Pakhwada’ being celebrated across the country on the occasion of PM Modi’s birthday and has instructed them to celebrate this fortnight by forming similar teams of leaders at the state, district and division levels.
BJP will organize blood donation camps at district level across the country in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society, blood banks and other social organizations on PM Modi’s birthday, September 17. Such camps will also be organized on September 18 and 19. From September 18 to September 24, cleanliness campaign will be run in schools and hospitals across the country. It has been asked to organize programs at the state level to honor the players who participated in the Paris Paralympics and invite other players to it.
People who have achieved success in various fields will also be requested to write articles and make videos on PM Modi. On the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, a booth level program will be organized on September 25. All the workers have been asked to give time as part-time vistarak at their respective booths and also add 100 members by going door to door.
On October 2, on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, BJP workers and leaders at the mandal level will run a cleanliness drive by visiting Mahatma Gandhi’s statue, temples and other religious places, parks and public places in their respective areas. Every family will be encouraged to buy at least one Khadi product on this day. Instructions have also been given to organize free health camps for women above 60 years of age in all the assemblies of the country on September 23.
An exhibition of the achievements of PM Modi will also be organised during these 15 days. Along with this, various competitions like rangoli, drawing and essay will also be organised on themes like Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Vikasit Bharat 2047 and Go Vocal for Local. Instructions have been given to upload the pictures and details of all the programmes on social media and Namo app as well as send them to the national headquarters of the party.
