By election 2025 results: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won a major victory in the by -elections in Visavadar in Gujarat and Ludhiana West Assembly seats in Punjab. Kejriwal said, “Assembly elections were held in Punjab in February 2022, in which the Aam Aadmi Party got a historic majority. Elections were held in Gujarat in December the same year, where we had first knocked out and won the Visavadar seat. But unfortunately our MLAs later left the party and joined the BJP. He further said that “Ludhiana has won a tremendous victory even in the West. It shows that people are happy with our work and are expressing confidence.”
Kejriwal’s sharp attack on BJP
Kejriwal also hit the BJP sharply. He said, “It is believed that the ruling party has great advantage in the by -elections, because they have the power to fully use administration and government machinery. But even after having a BJP government in Gujarat, people are voting for AAP. It is a clear indication that the public is upset with BJP and wants change.”
