Delhi News: The central government has constituted 24 parliamentary committees on Thursday. Many leaders of opposition parties including NDA have been given place in these committees. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has been made a member of the Defense Affairs Committee, while Samajwadi Party’s national general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav has been made the chairman of the Health Committee.
The central government has appointed Congress MP Shashi Tharoor as the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee. At the same time, BJP leader Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal has been given the responsibility of Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Home Affairs. BJP MP Radha Mohan Singh has been given the charge of the Defense Affairs Committee and BJP MP Bhartrihari Mahtab has been given the charge of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance.
BJP MP from Meerut and Arun Govil, who played the role of Ram, has been made a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has got the command of Communication and IT Committee. BJP leader CM Ramesh has been made the chairman of the Railway Affairs Committee. At the same time, Congress leader Digvijay Singh has been given the command of the Parliamentary Committee on Women, Education, Youth and Sports Affairs and Kangana Ranaut has been made a member of the same committee.
