Assembly elections are expected in Bihar in October or November this year. In such a situation, all political parties have come completely into electoral mode. In both the camps, both the NDA and the Grand Alliance, there is a detailed churn on the seat sharing. Chirag Paswan, the head of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) in NDA, is openly showing his attitude. He is continuously talking about contesting all 243 seats in Bihar. Chirag claims that his alliance is only with the people of Bihar.
Demand for 45 seats
On Thursday, Chirag Paswan met BJP President JP Nadda, where according to sources, Chirag has demanded 45 seats for LJP. However, the final decision remains. Now the big question is whether Chirag Paswan is just pressurizing to increase his stake in seat sharing or does he have a separate political strategy? On the other hand, despite being in the coalition, Chirag is continuously showing his attitude by raising the issue of law and order in Bihar.
Openly questioning the government
Chirag Paswan has openly stated on many forums that they are preparing to contest all 243 seats. Ara or Saran, Chirag repeats it in every meeting. Not only this, even on cases like Gopal Khemka murder case, they are not missing on surrounding the government and administration.
Chirag is also active in BJP areas
There is a discussion among the people that Chirag Paswan is more active in BJP’s stronghold areas in Bihar, where LJP’s support base has been traditionally weak. Questions are also being raised within the BJP about this. However, BJP leaders say that before the elections, all parties are preparing at their respective levels and public relations is natural in all seats. NDA leaders are claiming that all are united under the leadership of Nitish Kumar.
