LJP (Ram Vilas) chief and Union Minister Chirag Paswan has clearly warned the opposition to avoid unnecessary politics on international forums and national issues. He said that when the whole world is looking towards India, then we should understand what is affecting India’s global image with our political rhetoric. Talking to reporters in Patna, Chirag said, “It is not appropriate to create controversy on national subjects, but on issues where India is being seen on the international stage.”
Attack on Congress: Doubt on the leaders of their own party
Taking a dig at the Congress, Chirag Paswan said that today the party itself is unable to understand who is ‘in it and who’ in it. He said, “If you suspect your own leaders, what is the point of keeping them in the party? When you cannot trust your leaders on international subjects, what kind of image of India will you present?” He claimed that internal factionalism dominates in opposition parties. The capable leaders are being pushed back and priority is being given to those who are smoothly. Chirag also said that the opposition is afraid of capable leaders not to go beyond leadership.
Delegation dispute and parliamentary tradition
When the opposition leaders said that the names of their leaders were not taken to the delegation, Chirag said that it was a complete part of the parliamentary system. Many times it happens that some names are taken and nothing. He made it clear that the government tries to take all parties along.
Rahul Gandhi advised
On the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Bihar in the Lok Sabha, Chirag said that it is a good thing that Rahul remembered Bihar. But he took a sarcasm, saying, “Rahul Gandhi should not forget that there has been a Congress government in Bihar for many years. The work they could not do at that time, now they are talking about doing them, this is a good sign.”
‘Golden period’ told the future of Bihar
Talking about the problem of migration in Bihar, Chirag Paswan said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is also taking this issue seriously. He said that the government of double engine is trying in this direction and the coming five years will prove to be a golden period for Bihar. Respect for Lalu Yadav, but disagreeing with policies, on a question about RJD supremo Lalu Yadav, Chirag said, “He is like a father for me. If someone calls him abusive, first I will stand against him. Yes, I have opposed to his policies and I go among the public on the same basis.”
conclusion
Chirag Paswan’s statement gives a clear indication that he is worried about the international image of the country and is advising the opposition to be in his political dignity. At the same time, he has also presented a positive attitude towards the political situation and future of development of Bihar.
