Sulakshana Sawant, wife of Goa CM Pramod Sawant, has filed a defamation case of Rs 100 crore against Sanjay Singh. AAP MP Sanjay Singh recently addressed a press conference in Delhi, where he reportedly made serious allegations against Sulakshana Sawant in the cash-for-jobs scam. In this case, a Goa court has issued a notice to Sanjay Singh.

Sanjay Singh is accused of allegedly taking the name of CM’s wife in the cash for job scam. The court has sought a reply from the AAP MP by January 10, 2025. BJP spokesperson Giriraj Pai Vernekar said that Pramod Sawant’s wife Sulakshana Sawant has filed the case in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division in Bicholim, North Goa. The civil judge heard the case and issued a notice to Sanjay Singh.

In her complaint, Sulakshana Sawant, through her lawyers, requested the court to direct Sanjay Singh to publish an apology, clarifying that the said video, article and interview are false and not based on facts. He apologized unconditionally. He also appealed to the court to restrain Sanjay Singh from making any public statements defaming him on social media or other platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube and Xx.
