Launching a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Manoj Tiwari said that Chief Minister Atishi is just a puppet of Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal as he is using him as a remote.
Manoj Tiwari said, “Nowadays no one is listening to Atishi, he is just a puppet of Arvind Kejriwal, he is using him like a remote. Arvind Kejriwal was in power for 10 years, how many temples did he build? We are the only ones. Those who build temples.”
He said, “If there is even a little bit of morality left in Arvind Kejriwal and his party. Then calculate what you have given to the Maulvis so far and have given the same amount to the priests. Then we will be with you.”
Earlier, Atishi had accused the BJP of pretending to protect Hindu religion and secretly instructing officials and the Lieutenant Governor to destroy temples.
Addressing a press conference, Atishi said, “Such orders reveal the double face of the BJP. On one hand, they pretend to protect Hinduism, while on the other, they secretly appoint their Instruct the officials and LG to demolish the temples.”
He said that during the religious committee meeting on November 22, the decision was taken to demolish several temples located in West Patel Nagar, Dilshad Garden, Seemapuri, Gokalpuri, New Osmanpur and Sultanpuri as well as a Buddhist temple in Sunder Nagari.
He said, “There was a meeting of the religious committee on November 22. Yesterday the LG’s office told the media that there is no order to demolish the temples. But this is a lie. In the meeting held on November 22, West Patel Nagar, Dilshad Garden, The decision to demolish several temples located in Seemapuri, New Osmanpur and a Buddhist temple in Sunder Nagari was taken in the minutes of the meeting and now it has been approved by the LG. DM and SDM are preparing to demolish these temples.”
