He further said that whatever happened from last May 3 till today, I apologize for it. He said that many people lost their loved ones in this violence and many people had to leave their homes. He said that I am really sorry and I want to apologize for this.
The government will subsidize the fares of passengers traveling by air.
Speaking to the media, Biren Singh further announced that the government will now launch Alliance Air services at affordable rates to eliminate the problem of high fares for air travel. He said that the airfare under this scheme will not be more than Rs 5000. The government will give subsidy on fare to passengers traveling by air.
Birth registration linked to Aadhaar in the state will start from 2025
The CM further said that Manipur is facing the problem of illegal immigrants both internally and externally. He said the government would continue its drive to identify illegal immigrants entering the state without the required Inner Line Permit. CM said that in view of the problem of illegal immigrants, the work of biometric registration is going on. To eliminate this problem, Aadhaar-linked birth registration will be started in the state from January 2025.
