Mumbai, January 10 (IANS). Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis held a high-level meeting late Thursday evening and reviewed 19 upcoming ambitious schemes in the state.
A high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the Chief Minister’s War Room in Mantralaya. The state’s ambitious infrastructure projects were reviewed in the meeting. In the meeting, measures to expedite these projects were discussed in detail and necessary decisions were taken to expedite the implementation of the projects.

Chief Minister Fadnavis also directed to expedite the necessary permissions and land acquisition process for the construction of Vadhan Port in Palghar district.
Shinde wrote on ‘X’, “Survey of Wainganga-Nalganga River Link Project for expansion of irrigation facilities in Vidarbha and Marathwada, land acquisition for Wardha-Nanded Railway Line and Wadsa-Gadchiroli Project, Tuljapur Temple Development Plan proposal, Chhatrapati Survey of Sambhajinagar Water Supply Scheme, Virar-Alibagh Multi-Level Project, Mula-Mutha River Conservation, Site Proposal, BDD. Various public utility projects and schemes like chawl redevelopment, Mumbai Metro project and appointment of consultants for Palghar airport were discussed in detail in the meeting.”
He wrote, “A total of 19 ambitious projects in various sectors like metro, railways, highways, airports, ports, irrigation, water supply, sanitation and tourism were reviewed across the state including Mumbai. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Secretary Sujata Sainik, Apart from various departments, Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and senior officers related to the projects were present.
