CM Yogi: On the 115th foundation day of UP College in Varanasi, the girl students sang the bhajan song ‘Ram Siya Ram…Mangal Bhawan Amangal Hari’ in the MP Hall to welcome CM Yogi Adityanath. The entire hall echoed with Ram’s music. Thousands of students were chanting Jai Shri Ram and Har Har Mahadev.
Many programs were organized on the occasion of the foundation day of Udai Pratap Singh College, Varanasi. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had arrived here as the chief guest. Along with CM Yogi, Vice Chancellor of Kashi Vidyapeeth, Prof. AK Tyagi and Justice DP Singh were present in MP Hall. From the UP College Gate to the Judev Rajarshi Sthapana site and the venue of the programme, more than 500 NCC cadets and intermediate students stood with flowers and drums to welcome the CM.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated the college on completion of 115 years. During this, he said that the entire UP and the country humbly express gratitude for the work done by UP College in the field of education and all-round development in the last century. The idea of establishing a college in Varanasi in 1909, in itself reflects the grandeur of Rajarshi ji.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that when he was leaving from Gorakhpur in the morning, the former Vice Chancellor of Purvanchal University, Prof. Met Uday Pratap Singh. He said that I have studied in the same college for five years.
CM Yogi said that he is a great scholar of mathematics. His age is 95 years. Currently serving in Maharana Pratap Institute. He told that he used to do horse riding in UP college. There used to be evening prayers. This shows how good the culture of UP College must have been.

CM said that old students should also be included in the birthday of Rajarshi. Develop such software. Connect which of your alumni are working at different places. The teachers here along with the management committee should move forward towards the new campus of UP College in the new UP. The government will act positively on your report.
