There will be a red alert for rain in Uttar Pradesh for the next 48 hours. Mathura, Agra, Farrukhabad, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Saharanpur will receive heavy to very heavy rains. There is an orange alert in the remaining districts. The government has kept the NDRF-SDRF in standby mode. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy to very heavy rains in 8 districts of Madhya Pradesh – Guna, Ashoknagar, Vidisha, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Sehore, Bhopal. Due to the rain throughout the night, many areas of Delhi were waterlogged this morning. The maximum temperature in the capital was recorded at 32.6 degrees Celsius the previous day. The minimum temperature was recorded at 23 degrees. Today, the maximum temperature in Delhi can be 30 degrees and the minimum temperature can be 23 degrees.

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a warning of heavy to very heavy rain in Uttarakhand and western Uttar Pradesh today. Heavy rain is expected in western Madhya Pradesh, eastern Rajasthan, Gangetic West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura. There is also a possibility of rain in Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, eastern Uttar Pradesh, eastern Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha.
