कर्नल पुष्पेंद्र बाथ और उनके बेटे के साथ मारपीट निंदनीय, दोषियों के खिलाफ हो सख्त कार्रवाई : रोहित चौधरी

New Delhi, March 22 (IANS). The Congress party has strongly condemned the brutal assault by the police in Patiala, Punjab, Colonel Pushpendra Bath and his son. The party has demanded immediate arrest of the guilty officers.

Former President of the Congress Party’s Sainik Department, Colonel Rohit Chaudhary and Punjab’s co-Prakriti National Secretary Alok Sharma made serious allegations about the incident in a press conference held at the Congress office in New Delhi. He said that the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Punjab administration tried to suppress the incident.

He said that after the incident, an FIR was not registered for four days and time was not given to meet the SP. Apart from this, the dhaba at which the incident took place was pressurized to lodge an FIR against unknown people, so that the real culprits could be saved.

Congress leaders also questioned SSP Nanak Singh of Patiala. He alleged that SSP Nanak Singh had been removed from Patiala due to disability earlier and also discussed close to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The Congress also said that this incident exposes the law and order situation in Punjab, where a trap of intoxication is spread and people are terrorized by the Gunda Raj of the police.

Congress leaders said that the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab is completely guilty and blamed Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for this incident. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government has made the fleet of Punjab and ignored the situation of drug trade and crime in the entire state.

In addition, the Congress also mentioned criminal incidents with army soldiers, ex -servicemen and their families in BJP ruled states, such as Jaipur, Mau, Bhubaneswar and Manipur. The party saw such acts as the morale of the army and did not call it acceptable.

Congress leaders demanded that SSP Nanak Singh be named in the FIR in the case of an attack on the colonel in Patiala and all the guilty police officers should be arrested and dismissed. In addition, the case also demanded to be handed over to the CBI. The Congress also appealed to include senior army officers in the SIT and advised the army chief to meet the President to stop these incidents.

The Congress also demanded that the Ex -Servicemen Commission be formed, which can resolve the complaints of the soldiers and make special security provisions for them. The party talked about enacting a law in this regard that can prevent misbehavior with soldiers and their families, as in other countries.
