What did we miss from our side? How did an understanding between India and Pakistan and what was the role of America? what the FAC? No one knows what will happen next. Our party is demanding a special session of Parliament, the PM should clarify the position of the government. ”
Amid moving to an understanding of ending enmity between India and Pakistan, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader TKS Alangovan called it a ‘good step’, welcoming the alleged attempts of the mediation of US President Donald Trump. However, he emphasized that the Government of India should clarify the nature of the discussions with Trump, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not mention it in his address on Monday night.
Alangovan told ANI on Monday, “US President Donald Trump claims that he had discussed with both governments to stop the war and the Prime Minister did not say anything about it. Why did Trump give this statement? Did he talk to the Government of India? If he discussed, he should say. Stop the war is a good step of Trump.” He reiterated his party’s stance against terrorism and said that it needs to be curbed and terrorists should be eliminated. However, the DMK leader said that the basis of discussion between DGMOs of India and Pakistan should be revealed.
