Congress Session: The 84th session of the Congress is starting in Ahmedabad today (8 April). It will run till 9 April. Rahul Gandhi has reached Ahmedabad to attend this session. In a short time, the Congress session will begin with the meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC), which will include Rahul and Sonia Gandhi. After this, both will go to Sabarmati Ashram. Please tell that 80 Congress leaders have also reached Ahmedabad to attend the Congress session.
What will happen in the first day meeting of the Congress session?
The CWC meeting will be held at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Memorial. In addition to the members of CWC, the Chief Minister, in-charge and co-prabhari of the Congress ruled states, the state president, the leader of the legislative party and the Leader of Opposition and other leaders will be included. In this meeting, many important issues like strengthening the party’s position in Gujarat will be discussed. Apart from this, assembly elections are going to be held in Gujarat in 2027, for which there may be discussions about electoral strategies in this meeting. After this meeting, Rahul and Sonia will reach Sabarmati Ashram by evening and attend the prayer meeting there.
Second day program of Congress session
On the second day of the Congress session i.e. April 9, there will be a complete session of AICC on Sabarmati Riverfront. The program will include more than 1700 AICC representatives and party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and other senior Congress leaders. The theme of this session is ‘Nyaya: Sankalp, Dedication and Conflict’. In such a situation, the Congress party will discuss the local issues of Gujarat and the strategy of the upcoming elections on the second day of the session.
Let us know that after 64 years in Gujarat, the Congress party is doing this program. Earlier in 1961, there was a session in Bhavnagar. Apart from this, 100 years of Mahatma Gandhi are being completed as Congress President this year. Also, there is the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (31 October). Both are connected to Gujarat, so the Congress party is also conducting this session in Gujarat.
