Congress MP Rahul Gandhi greeted the people of Telangana on the 11th Telangana Foundation Day. He remembered former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and Congress MP Sonia Gandhi for his contribution to the creation of Telangana state.
While sharing an X post, Rahul Gandhi wrote, “Wish the people of Telangana a very happy State Day! 11 years ago, Telangana was born with the hopes and dreams of millions under the leadership of Dr. Manmohan Singh ji and Mrs. Sonia Gandhi.
Gandhiji gave the message of ‘just, respectable and prosperous future’ to the citizens of the state.
The Congress MP said, “The Congress party stands with you in the construction of ‘Prajalu Telangana’ – a just, respectable and rich future for every citizen. Our guarantee is a reflection of that unbreakable commitment to every family, every dream.”
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also greeted the citizens of Telangana. Recalling the martyrs and students who contributed to the formation of the state, he reiterated the Congress government’s commitment to ‘Prajalu Telangana’.
Sharing a post on X, Kharge wrote, “Our heartfelt greetings on Telangana Foundation Day! 11 years ago, the aspirations of millions of people were converted into the creation of India’s youngest state, Telangana.
He said, “On this important day, we honor the countless martyrs who sacrificed our lives for Telangana, including students. The Congress government is fully committed to” Prajalu Telangana ” – a state where social justice, economic empowerment and continuous progress is ensured for 3.8 crore people.”
