Maharashtra Congress leader Vijay Vadettiwar made a statement when Tawwur Rana, accused of the 26/11 terror attack, was brought to India. He said that Tahavvur Rana is being brought to India after many years. I would only say that he should be hanged immediately. Talking to IANS, Maharashtra Congress leader Vijay Vadettiwar said about the exodus of India’s mastermind Tahwwur Rana’s Mastermind Tahwwur Rana, saying, “The Home Minister of the country is saying that he (Tahwwur Rana) is a big achievement of the government, but if he is bringing him after 11 years, he should be hanged immediately after bringing him here.”
He further said, “If this is a big achievement for the government, then I will only say that the government brings Dawood too, even if he is sitting very close. If Tawwur Rana can be brought from America, then why can’t Dawood be brought from Pakistan. He has courage, then he also brought the terrorist in Mumbai and brought him to India.”
On the violence erupted in West Bengal over the Waqf law, the Congress leader said, “It becomes the responsibility of the central government, because the central government has done the work of dividing Hindus and Muslims by bringing bills. Such a bill has promoted public anger among the people. It is the result of the central government’s actions, whatever disturbance in the country, the BJP government is responsible for this.”
Earlier, Shiv Sena leader Shina NC demanded punishment-a-death to Tahwwur Rana. He said in a conversation with IANS that since 2019, PM Modi has been in constant effort to bring Tawwur Rana, accused of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, to bring back to India. We all demand that Tahwwur Rana should be punished. This is a lesson for terrorists who think they are out of the grip of law.
