Bhopal, August 29 (IANS). For the assembly elections to be held in Haryana, the All India Congress Committee is assigning responsibilities to various party leaders. In this sequence, Congress MLA from Kasrawad assembly of Madhya Pradesh and former minister Sachin Yadav has been appointed as the observer of Gurugram Lok Sabha constituency.
In the state politics, MLA Sachin Yadav’s father former Deputy Chief Minister Subhash Yadav and brother former Union Minister Arun Yadav have considerable influence among the backward classes. The Yadav family also has a deep penetration in the Yadav community. Sachin Yadav has been given this responsibility to woo the backward classes and especially the Yadav community.
Congress leaders of Nimar region have expressed happiness over making Sachin Yadav the observer of Gurugram Lok Sabha constituency and have thanked the Congress high command.
Sachin Yadav expressed his gratitude to former party president Sonia Gandhi, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi, organization minister KC Venugopal and Haryana in-charge Deepak Babaria for this responsibility and said that he will soon reach Gurugram Lok Sabha constituency and visit all the nine assembly seats Bawal, Rewari, Pataudi, Badshahpur, Gurgaon, Sohna, Nuh, Ferozepur Jhirka and Punhana and meet the workers. He said that the main goal is to make Congress candidates win in all the nine assembly seats of Gurugram in the assembly elections to be held in Haryana. He expressed confidence that the party will win all the assembly seats with a huge majority.
Yadav claimed that in the upcoming assembly elections in Haryana, Congress will form a strong people-friendly government with a majority.
Elections for all 90 assembly seats in Haryana are scheduled to be held on October 1. Counting of votes will take place on October 4.
