The Congress accelerated its campaign against the alleged ‘rigging’ in voter lists and released a video on Wednesday and appealed to the people to join it and called the Election Commission a ‘Election Theft Commission’.
In the one -minute video that is going on through its various social media handles, the main opposition party showed that two people get out of a polling station and say to an elderly man and a woman who reached there, they should go back as they have already cast their votes.
In this video, the ‘Election Stolen’ Commission has been written for the Election Commission.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge posted a video and posted on ‘X’, “Let’s take away your vote, ask questions, ask for answers, this time. Raise voice against ‘Vote Theft’, rescue constitutional institutions from BJP’s clutches. ”
Party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi also shared this video and appealed to the people to join the Congress campaign.
On Thursday, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, citing the data for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, claimed that more than one lakh votes were ‘stolen’ in Mahadevpura assembly constituency of Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha seat in Karnataka, while the Congress candidate lost by a margin of 32 thousand votes in this parliamentary constituency.
The Election Commission had termed the Congress leader’s claim as baseless and said that he should either give an affidavit or apologize.
