Congress tightens the Modi government on the statement that Mallya informs Jaitley before leaving the country

The Congress on Friday targeted the Narendra Modi -led government at the Center for the statement of fugitive liquor businessman Vijay Mallya, saying that in 2016 he had fled the country by telling the then Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. The Congress said that “the entire system of Narendra came out surrender.”

The Congress also said that the Modi government’s “pakoda economics” has turned into a “fugitive economics”. The Prime Minister allegedly stated in 2018 that selling “Pakoda” is also employment. The Congress often takes sarcasm at the government by using the word “Pakoda Economics” regarding this statement.

Social media influencer Raj Shamani recently performed a ‘podcast’ with Mallya, in which Mallya claimed that he had informed Jaitley before leaving India in 2016. The Congress shared the video of this ‘podcast’, saying, “It has become clear that the Modi government had a hand in escaping the industrialist (Mallya) from the country.” Pawan Kheda, head of the party’s media and publicity department, also posted this video clip.

In this video, Mallya is seen saying, “I told Finance Minister Arun Jaitley before leaving for the airport and then going from Delhi to London. I had to go to Geneva for the FIA World Council meeting, which was fixed months ago. I told the finance minister, after which I went to Delhi by Parliament. When this news came in the media, this news came in the media, once again the argument was raised.”

Mallya said, “People started running behind Jaitley, after which Jaitley refused to meet me. A Congress MP saw us together, after which he informed the media about it.” Mallya said, “Jaitley had to withdraw his statement and he said,” Yes, yes I met him but only while walking, it was a moment’s meeting. “

The fugitive industrialist said, “I never said that I had gone to Jaitley’s office, was sitting in front of him, drank tea with him … I only said that I told the finance minister that I am going to London, I have to go to Geneva for a meeting, I will come back, please tell the banks to sit with me and compromise.”

Mallya said, “How long it can take to talk can be talked about on the go … but you must have seen how he (Jaitley) refused and when the Congress MP told his (Jaitley) mistake, he immediately overturned.”

Kheda, reacting to the podcast, targeted the government through a post and reiterated the remarks of party leader Rahul Gandhi’s ‘surrender’ (surrender). He said, “Foreign Minister attacks Pakistan by telling Pakistan. People who cheat the bank run away from the country by informing the Finance Minister. The entire system of Narendra is surrendered.”

Congress General Secretary (Communications in -charge) Jairam Ramesh shared Kheda’s post and wrote, “Pakoda economics became fugitive economics.” Mallya, who fled to Britain in March 2016, is wanted in India in terms of non -payment of debt of Rs 9,000 crore from several banks to his former Kingfisher Airlines (KFA). India is demanding Mallya’s extradition from Britain. He had earlier also offered to repay 100 percent loan, but alleged that the banks and the government rejected his proposal.
