Congress: Taking a big decision on Wednesday, Congress has announced the dissolution of all the units of Himachal Pradesh Congress Organization. It is being told that the Congress high command has taken this decision after not getting the expected results in the Lok Sabha elections.
Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has approved the proposal to dissolve the entire unit of the state, from block committees to district presidents, with immediate effect. This proposal was sent by Himachal Congress State President Pratibha Singh to the Congress High Command. He had demanded in his proposal that the old executive should be dissolved and a new executive should be formed.
Along with this, he had said that the inactive officials of the organization should be removed and new appointments should be made. A new executive will be formed to strengthen the party in the upcoming elections. This will also be discussed with the Chief Minister.
