The Congress has expelled former member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Laxman Singh from the party for a period of six years due to anti -party activities. He is the brother of senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh.
The party said, “The Congress President has expelled former Madhya Pradesh MLA Laxman Singh from primary membership for a period of six years with immediate effect due to his anti -party activities.”
Laxman Singh made a sharp comment on Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi’s businessman husband Robert Vadra at an event on 25 April after the Pahalgam terror attack. Even before this, he had questioned the party on several occasions.
Laxman Singh said, “Robert Vadra Jija ji, Rahul ji’s … what he said … The terrorists attacked the Muslims on the road, so the terrorists attacked. How long will we face these children. Rahul Gandhi should talk thoughtfully, he is the Leader of Opposition. ”
