For this, the ‘Organization Creation’ campaign has been started, under which presidents of 40 district and city units were appointed. The Congress has started the organization creation campaign from Gujarat. The party did research and churning for more than two months to appoint presidents.
Preparations for Gujarat Assembly Elections 2027
Gujarat’s main opposition party Congress says that the party is being prepared for the Gujarat assembly elections 2027. Deciding the responsibility of the presidents is a big step in this direction. Under this campaign, district presidents will also be appointed in other states within a few months. It is being told that the role of observers of All India Congress Committee (AICC) and State Congress Committee (PCC) is important in this campaign.

Congress Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal said, “Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has approved the appointment of District and City Congress Committee (DCC) presidents in Gujarat with immediate effect. These appointments are the results of intensive organizational practice under the ‘Organization Creation’ campaign. The campaign started to revive the party structure from booth to district level.
43 AICC observers and 183 PCC supervisors discussed
On April 12, 43 AICC observers and 183 PCC supervisors were given the responsibility of all districts of Gujarat. After this, AICC supervisors along with PCC supervisors discussed with all 26 Lok Sabha constituencies, 182 assembly constituencies and almost all 235 block Congress committees. He spoke to party workers, civil society and local communities through public dialogue, face-to-face meetings and press conferences to assess the organizational ecosystem.
