When the goods train derailed some distance away from Vrindavan Road railway station, the first overhead equipment (OHE) line also went down. This accident happened at 7.54 pm. The control room got the information at around 8.12 am. The officers rushed from wherever they were. The accident was so terrible that the wheels of many wagons broke and fell away. Many wagons overturned on each other in such a way that not only the wagons were damaged, but the coal filled in them also got scattered on the entire track. This also caused difficulty to the railway team that reached the spot in carrying out rescue work. However, late at night the trains were diverted from the fourth railway line. On the other hand, the driver also panicked after the accident.
Two drivers including Sher Singh of Agra were driving the goods train. They had to go from Agra to Tughlakabad. Agra’s loco pilot Sher Singh Meena and guard Hemant Kumar were travelling in the derailed goods train. Sher Singh was very scared after the accident. He did not talk to the media, but the colour of his face clearly showed that he was very terrified.

Agra division DRM Tej Prakash Agarwal, who reached the spot, said that at 8.12 am, information was received about the derailment of the goods train. 25 coaches derailed. On the suspicion of a conspiracy behind the accident, he said that we cannot say anything in this matter. The accident will be investigated. In the last few days, the conspiracy to overturn the train and crash the goods train has increased.
