Prime Minister Narendra Modi today called Bharatiya Janata Party MPs Pratap Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput and inquired about their health. He had suffered head injuries in the Parliament complex following an alleged scuffle between the opposition and the ruling coalition.
The incident comes amid the controversy over Rahul Gandhi allegedly pushing an MP while he claimed that he was stopped from entering Parliament and he was also allegedly pushed.
NDA and India Bloc MPs had protested in the Parliament complex when a scuffle broke out between the two parties, in which two BJP MPs were injured.
What did the hospital doctor say?
After two BJP MPs were admitted to Delhi’s Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital over the alleged scuffle in Parliament, Medical Superintendent Ajay Shukla said both the leaders suffered head injuries and were admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Is.
Shukla also said that they are trying to stabilize both of them (Pratap Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput).
He said, “Tests will be conducted. Symptomatic treatment has started. Since both of them had head injuries, they were admitted to the ICU. Pratap Sarangi was bleeding heavily and also had a deep wound. So He had to be stitched. Mukesh is conscious now, but his blood pressure has increased.
RML’s MS also said that it will depend on the patient and his report for how long he will have to stay in the hospital.
BJP lashed out at Congress and Rahul Gandhi
After the hospital visit, Chouhan criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and his party for alleged misconduct during the clash in Parliament, calling it a “black day in parliamentary history”. Speaking to reporters, Chouhan said, “Limits have been torn to pieces. Democracy has been torn to pieces. There is no other example like the hooliganism of Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party. Such conduct has never been seen in the parliamentary history of India.” Not seen.”
Chauhan said, “Why are they expressing their frustration in Parliament after the defeat in Haryana and Maharashtra? A workshop should be called for Rahul Gandhi and Congress people to understand conduct in democracy.”
Expressing further disappointment, he said, “I am saddened. Amit Shah’s speech has exposed the Congress… They are so disappointed by this that they have now resorted to hooliganism. We condemn this hooliganism.”
Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said that BJP will take action against Congress MPs after receiving the report from the hospital. Meghwal said, “Two leaders are injured. 4-5 other MPs have complained about this… All MPs have the right to protest. He (Rahul Gandhi) used physical violence and he even went to see Sarangi ji’s condition. Didn’t go… They (Congress) have always done injustice to BR Ambedkar. They have always insulted him… We will take action as per the report from the hospital.”
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Thursday accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of “physically assaulting” two BJP MPs in the Parliament complex. Condemning Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s actions, he said the show of strength by him and his MPs was “very wrong”.
He said, “Makar Dwar is the main gate for the entry of Members of Parliament into both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Congress and their other MPs stood at that particular place and they kept showing placards and raising slogans during the entire session. Today, for the first time, NDA MPs NDA MPs went there to protest for the first time since 1951 when NDA MPs were protesting at Makar Dwar, under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. The MPs came and attacked two BJP MPs and also scuffled with other MPs. Two BJP MPs, Pratap Singh Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput, have suffered serious injuries. If you resort to this kind of physical violence, if other MPs also start resorting to physical violence, what will happen?”
He said, “We believe in democracy. Who has given Rahul Gandhi the right to use his physical strength against other MPs. This does not mean that other MPs are weak. It is just that they are weak. Because we believe in non-violence and we believe in democracy. The physical attack on MPs is condemnable and the way Rahul Gandhi has behaved with Parliament. It shows That Rahul Gandhi does not believe in democracy. I want to tell Rahul Gandhi that we will see what appropriate action we can take. But he should apologize to the country that he has used his physical force against other MPs. “
Rijiju said, “We are not taking physical retaliatory action only because we believe in democracy. We are not using our physical force against other MPs because we do not believe in that. We believe in non-violence. Rahul Gandhi should understand and apologize to the country and the MPs whom he has caused serious injury. First of all, we will look at the level of injury as there was quite a lot of blood. Now medical treatment was flowing. It is going on. We will see the situation now.”
Earlier, when parallel protests continued outside the Parliament from both the ruling party and the opposition, a new controversy broke out. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi alleged that he was hurt after being pushed by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
The incident occurred amid ongoing protests by BJP MPs accusing Congress of disrespecting Ambedkar’s legacy. The protesters held banners that read, “Ambedkar showed us the way, Congress misled us.”
Meanwhile, India Alliance MPs led by Rahul Gandhi held their protest in Parliament and demanded Amit Shah’s resignation over his remarks on Ambedkar.
